Who can join the MLSA?
MLSA membership is open to staffing agencies, independent recruiters, and certified re-selling partners.
Multiple Listing Job Posting
Will my candidates' resumes be shared with other vendors?
No, your candidates will only be shared with the vendors you choose to submit them to. No other firms have the ability to view or contact your candidates
Will I be guaranteed a set number of requirements per week/month?
No, MLSA partners are encouraged to post openings on the job network, however there is no guarantee any openings will be uploaded that match your capabilities.
How do you determine which reqs get sent to which vendors?
Requirements are automatically sent out to MLSA partners that are qualified to support these openings. MLSA members will have the ability to search the database for openings and view all posted positions.
What happens if a candidate is submitted by multiple vendors?
Traditionally the MLSA member with the opening will engage the vendor that first submitted the candidate, however bill rates, and direct placement fees do way into a firm's decision on what agency to engage.
Am I able to speak directly with other staffing agencies about their openings?
Yes, MLSA partners will have the ability to communicate directly.
If my opening is filled by another vendor, how is the fee worked out?
Fee negotiations and placement fees are handled between the two firms involved.
Can I view every opening nationwide?
Yes, MLSA partners have the ability to view & submit candidates to any MLSA job posting.
Is there a limit to the number of resumes I can submit to an opening?
No, MLSA vendors can submit an unlimited number of resumes. However, the MLSA will track vendor performance which will be used to determine your MLSA rating.
Can I determine what agencies work on my requisitions?
MLSA partners will have the ability to choose what vendors work on specific openings.
Is there a limit to the number of requisitions I can post?
No, members have the ability to post an unlimited number of requisitions.
Is there a limit to the number of candidates I can save under my log in?
No, MLSA partners have the ability to store an unlimited number of candidates under their profile.
Can resumes be updated and/or edited?
Yes, resumes, candidate profiles, and job postings can be edited at anytime.
Can other vendors view my saved candidates?
No, no other MLSA members will be able to view your candidates until you submit them to an opening.
How are vendors notified once a position I'm working on is filled?
All activities in the MLSA trigger an email alert. Vendors working on an opening that was just filled will be notified.

What is the sales cycle for re-selling nextSource's services & technology?
Depending on the application being sold, and the size of the deal sales cycles can last anywhere from one week to one year.
Will nextSource provide any sales support for potential deals?
Yes, nextSource will provide the required sales support to close a deal.

MLSA members will have the ability to re-sell nextSource's People Procurement platform. These services & technology solutions include;

What is the typical size of an MLSA partner agency?
MLSA members range from 1 and 2 recruiter organizations to multi-million dollar national organizations.
What is the value of partnering with a network like the MLSA for me?
MLSA members will benefit from additional exposure to qualified requirements & candidates, the ability to offer additional services outside of traditional recruiting/staffing, and the ability to support several nextSource's MSP/VMS client openings.
What is the cost to join? Am I tied into a long contract?
The MLSA is $99/month to join, contract duration is one year.
How many vendor partners do you have?
The MLSA consists of over 800 vendor participants and growing daily.

How does the MLSA benefit Independent recruiters?
Independent recruiters will now have the ability to diversify their service offerings, support contract and contract-to-hire opportunities, offer MSP/VMS services, and make placements outside of your immediate customer base.

Payroll Funding
How does payroll funding work?
Ever miss out on a temporary placement because you didn't have the finances to pay a contractor, or weren't registered to do business in a certain state? The MLSA will fund your payroll to allow organizations and independent recruiters the ability to offer temporary staffing services to organizations across the country.
What do I need to get started?
Simply submit the online application and a MLSA Career Broker will promptly get back to you with next steps.
How do I represent the role of the MLSA to the employee & my client companies?
For the candidate, let them know you outsource payroll administration to the MLSA so that you can focus on marketing, screening, interviewing, and other “front office” tasks.
For the client company, let them know that you use the MLSA for your “back office”. The MLSA is financially strong with over $500 million in sales, employees over 15,000 contractors throughout the country. The MLSA is available to employ workers in all states, process payroll, and administer benefits.
What identity do I maintain during this process?
Your company name will appear on all timesheets, paychecks, and invoices. The MLSA will not require a written contract with your client company. Typically, the MLSA is listed as your “Payroll Service” and payments are made accordingly.
What are my responsibilities after the placement is made?
The MLSA will process payroll, invoice the client company, and monitor collections. Member responsibilities include assistance in collecting delinquent timecards. If payment is not received on a timely basis, we may ask you to assist by contacting the client company. We recommend you check in with these employees from time-to-time to monitor performance and the client's satisfaction.
Who is the employer of record? Do my candidates become nextSource employees?
The MLSA is the employer of record, i.e. the legal employer of the workers.
What benefits are available to the workers?
Employees will have access to full benefits through the MLSA; including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and paid vacation days.
What about out-of-state placements?
The MLSA can support placements in all 50 states & Canadian provinces as well.
